May 4, Almost 8 months

Matthew is almost 8 months and crawling everywhere now. He is at such a fun age. I love playing with him and watching him play on his own. He says mamma, and sometimes hi, and waves. He also is starting to wave and give his Uncles hi 5's. Lately he has been very attached to me and isn't happy for long when he goes to visit others. This is a big change from the usual Matthew. His teeth have been really aggravating him though so I am going to blame it on teething. He will be back to normal soon I hope.

Matthew amazes me everyday with new discoveries. Lately he can crawl, yes finally, and pulls himself up on everything imaginable. He is getting good at picking up small items and putting them directly into his mouth. I can just watch the wheels turn in his head while he figures things out. The last two days he has started to wave. He can definitely say Mamma and it sounds like he says hi sometimes when someone new starts talking to him. I'm not sure if that is just by chance or not though. He weighs about 22 lbs and is roughly 29 inches tall or so. He is great at hugs and gives the wettest and most sweet kisses.
