Thanksgiving at the Sutton's

He runs away everytime I put his hat on him. This was the least blurry
of about 20 photos.

Growth spurt

So I finally came to the realization this week that Matthew has gone through another growth spurt. I keep dressing him in his regular clothes, things he wore and fit a week ago, and now they don't even reach past his ankles. Some of his shirts dont cover his belly either He needs new pants for sure. Nothing that says 12 months fits anymore. Kevin can shop for him when he gets home, and give him his new truck.

About minute before this Matthew was resting his head on Mel. They
love -hate eachother.

Ace found the best bed in the house today. He looks pretty comfy in
Matthews tent.

Eating his applesauce cereal with fruit chunks. No help needed from

So today nick and Erin came over to show Matthew and I their new ride.
I was distracted for a minute and Matthew took the opportunity to dive
head first into the puddle. Seriously head first He tripped as he ran
to the puddle and landed right in it. Then I wave the white flag since
he is already covered in mud and let him have at it. Check out Nick
and Erin's new car in the background.

I think I was annoying him with pictures. I keep telling him that is
part of the mommy law...annoy, embarass, and wipe snotty noses. So far
those are on the list. He hates wiping noses the most.

So I have been talking to a few people about Matthews quirky behaviors. One of those being his way of peeing before, after or asking to get out of them tub to do his deed and then ask to get back in the tub. So I really think he loves to watch himself pee. After asking some advice and then conferring with Kevin we decided what's the hurt in getting him a potty to use occasionally. Today is day one of the 'potty experiment' and we are 6 for 6. That is 6 attempts to pee on the potty and 6 successes. Now by noeans do I think we will be getting this potty thing down pat so easily. But for now while we are around the house we will continue to try.
